General Device Setup Information
General Information
Each device uses a separate ActiveX control in order to allow communication between the browser and the device. Internet Explorer is required because it is the only current browser that fully supports ActiveX controls.
The first time you attempt to use each device in the browser you will be prompted to allow the ActiveX control to run. After enabling the ActiveX control the page will refresh.
You can avoid this prompt by adding the C2C Schools website to Internet Explorer's list of trusted websites.
Adding C2C to the List of Trusted Websites
By adding C2C to the list of trusted websites in Internet Explorer you can avoid the security prompts and page refreshes required to enable each of the ActiveX controls.
First, log into https://www.c2cschools.com and then do the following:
- Go to settings
- Click Internet options
- Click the Security tab
- Click Trusted sites
- Click the Sites button
- Ensure https://www.c2cschools.com is listed
- Click the Add button
Device Settings
Any device settings that are used by the C2C software are saved in your browser's cookies and will be remembered even if you restart the browser or computer.
